Pay by Direct Debit

The easiest way to pay your rent is by setting up a Direct Debit.

With Direct Debit your rent will be taken automatically from your bank or building society on your chosen date – so you never have to worry about forgetting to pay.

You can set up a Direct Debit by registering on the My Onward self-service portal.

Step into the digital age and pay your rent online 24/7 through the My Onward self-service portal, where you can also view your rent account.


Not keen on tech? Let us know if you’d like to receive a printed rent statement and we’ll send one out to you.

Pay by phone

If you prefer, you can pay your rent over the phone by calling us on 0300 555 0600.

Press ‘1’ to use our automated telephone service (available 24/7), or stay on the line to speak to one of our advisors between the hours of 8:30am to 7:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 10am to 7:30pm on a Wednesday.

To make payment, you will need:

  1. Your account number
  2. Your bank details
  3. A credit or debit card

Pay by payment card

Payments can be made at your local Post Office or any retail outlet which accepts Allpay. Simply take your payment card to the counter together with your payment.

You will be given a receipt as proof which we recommend that you keep in a safe place.

Please note that Onward offices remain closed and rent payments should continue to be made online or by telephone.
