Supported housing

We provide housing designed to support customers with additional needs, helping them to manage their tenancies effectively and live more independently.

We have thousands of supported homes across the North West, ranging from shared houses for those who benefit from a community setting to self-contained apartments and bungalows for those who prefer their own private space.

Our supported housing service includes:

  • Homes for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, physical disabilities, or dementia
  • Residential care homes
  • Support for those experiencing homelessness

We work in close partnership with specialist support providers that are commissioned by local authorities to ensure our customers receive the tailored support they need to live independently within their homes.

To apply for our supported housing, you will need to be referred by your local authority. This is usually through either Adult Social Care, Community Mental Health or Housing Options Teams, who will carry out an assessment to ensure you are appropriately matched to a home and support package that is right for you.

You can find details for your local authority’s team and more information about the support available by visiting the Government’s website.
