Onward Repairs moves into the Wirral
Over the past few years, Onward Homes has been bringing more and more services in-house, so that we can have greater control over the repairs and maintenance being delivered in our neighbourhoods, which is helping us improve our service to customers.
Onward Repairs now manages all of Onward’s repairs and maintenance across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire East, as well as gas servicing and repairs across all our north west neighbourhoods. The next stage in its journey will see Onward Repairs take over all repairs and maintenance across our Wirral neighbourhoods, when our contract with Liberty ends on 10th August 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition and prevent any interruption to our repairs service in the Wirral, we will be appointing a specialist local repairs contractor to manage a limited number of jobs in the short term. We will notify affected customers when we have appointed this temporary contractor, and the contractor will be named in appointment letter(s). As ever, please remember to check the I.D. badge of anyone trying to enter your home.

Remember: If you live in the Wirral and already have a repair appointment booked, this will go ahead as scheduled and you don’t need to do contact us to rearrange the appointment.
