Onward and Lovell transform brownfield site in Moreton
Onward and Lovell have marked the completed transformation of the former Foxfield School site in Moreton, delivering affordable homes and significant community investment. The brownfield site was bought by Lovell from Wirral Council in 2024 following a competitive tender process with planning and construction accelerated to deliver a 66-home development of 2, 21/2 storey 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes.
Foxfield Park provides a mix of terraced and semi-detached homes, offering two-, three- and four-bedroom properties across a range of affordable tenures including shared ownership, affordable rent and Rent to Buy through Onward.

All homes feature a high-performing external envelope that utilises insulation and airtightness measures, low-energy lighting and materials and products from renewable sources. They have also been designed to comply with M(4)2 standards, helping ensure homes can adapt over time, with several M4(3) compliant homes also delivered for wheelchair users.
During construction, the project supported local employment and skills opportunities through apprenticeships, work placements and engagement with local schools and colleges. The scheme generated significant spend within the local supply chain, helping to support businesses across the Wirral.
Onward has also partnered with Lovell to deliver the first phase of Signallers Croft near Crewe and the mixed-tenure Dock Road North scheme in Port Sunlight.
