Onward achieves C1, G1, V2 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing
Onward has achieved a C1 grading for adherence to consumer standards, while retaining its G1 and V2 ratings for governance and financial viability respectively, following its latest planned inspection from the Regulator of Social Housing.

Onward has issued its annual report and financial results for 2022/23, showing that the organisation remains resilient as it continues to support customers with the cost of living.
The Board has formally reviewed compliance with the RSH’s Governance and Viability Standard and supporting Code of Practice. An evidence-based assessment against each element of the Standard and the Code was carried out in preparation for making a statement of compliance to the Board and tested with the resident scrutiny board. The Board formally certified its compliance with the Standard and Code for 2022-23 at its meeting in August 2023. Read more.

It looks at a range of indicators, from the energy efficiency of our homes to the size of our customer engagement community, to outline our performance in these areas as part of a wider sustainability agenda.

Onward completes successful first bond issue
March 2021
Onward has completed its first bond issue, which was met with very strong demand from the market and raised £215m to support its Business Plan. Onward achieved a loan margin of 0.88%, among the lowest long-term margins secured by a UK housing provider. Details can be found here:
