Onward achieves C1, G1, V2 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing
We are delighted to share we have been awarded C1, G1 and V2 by the Regulator of Social Housing, thanks to the commitment of our colleagues, Board and customers to improving homes and services.
This is our first consumer grade, while our governance and financial viability grades are unchanged.
Sandy Livingstone, Chief Executive of Onward, welcomed the results.
“The judgement reflects the progress we have made by listening to our customers and acting on their feedback. It recognises the strength of our governance and management and the balanced decisions we have taken to invest in our existing homes and business.
“Our approach enables us to help tackle the housing crisis by building more homes in our communities. To this end, we are also pleased to retain the confidence of our funders and Homes England, alongside our A1 rating from Moody’s.
Sandy added: “We know there is more to do and we remain focused on delivering further improvements to benefit the customers and communities we serve across the north west.”
Inspectors observed a Board meeting and a customer scrutiny panel, spoke with customers, met with non-executive directors, interviewed colleagues and reviewed a wide range of documents to form their view.
