We check our trees regularly, and Onward Environmental will deal with urgent problems quickly. This includes pruning or remove trees that are:

  • Dead, diseased or dying
  • Dangerous (i.e. through storm damage)
  • Causing damage, or likely to cause damage, to property
  • Breaking highway regulations
  • Identified as part of our maintenance programme

We will also remove waste, make stumps safe, and tidy the ground afterwards to keep areas clean and safe.

We cannot prune or remove trees that are blocking sunlight, interfering with TV/phone signal, obstructing views, or interfering with private vegetation. Please do not prune, remove or try to deal with any damaged trees yourself, or employ someone else to do so on your behalf. Many of our trees are protected and it is a criminal offence to prune or remove them without consent from the local authority.

You will need to ask us before planting any trees in your garden, and we also ask that you do not tie things like washing lines or lights to existing trees, as this can harm them.

We’re here to help

If you notice any tree related issues or are approached by someone who is offering to cut trees down, remove rubbish or maintain your garden for a fee and things don’t feel right, please report this to us as soon as possible.
