We wanted to keep you all updated as there have been changes to the services we have operating at the moment due to Government guidance.
This week commencing 23/03/20 we are open for essential services only on the following days:
Monday: 8am – 5pm
Tuesday: 8am – 5pm
Wednesday: 8am – 5pm
Thursday: 8am – 1pm
As of next week commencing 30/03/20 and for the foreseeable future we will only be opening on the following days and times:
Monday: 8am – 5pm
Tuesday: 8am – 5pm
Wednesday: 8am – 5pm.
We are opening for essential services only. Please do not attend the centre unless you have an appointment and it has been confirmed that this is still taking place.
We are having to adhere to strict guidelines and we need to know who is in the centre each day to ensure the safety of our staff and service users.

We have a lot of staff working from home who are happy to make phone calls to anyone who is self-isolating and in need of a friendly chat. Please contact the centre on 0151 922 8588 during our opening hours with your details and we can arrange for a member of our team to contact you.
Please don’t suffer in silence, if you are struggling, get in touch and we will try our best to help you, or signpost you to someone that can.

In the heart of the Linacre/Bootle area of South Sefton, the May Logan Healthy Living Centre helps to improve health and wellbeing, providing accessible support to the people who need it most in the areas that they live in. Find out more about the support and services we offer.
Onward built and manage the centre whilst core funding is provided by NHS South Sefton Clinical Commissioning Group. We work closely with key partners, suppliers and providers.
Living Well Sefton project
At the May Logan Centre we have a team of Living Well Mentors who can help to improve your health and wellbeing. We can also offer advice and practical help if you are wanting to:
- Eat well
- Quit smoking
- Drink less
- Lose weight
- Improve your child’s diet
- Stress less
- Have a healthy pregnancy
- Control your budget
If you live in Sefton, or your GP practice is in Sefton, then our free and confidential service is open to you.
Our Mentors are very friendly and have lots of experience helping people to make positive changes. They work with you at your pace and offer:
- One to one appointments
- Regular and on-going support
- Information about local groups
- Signposting to other services

Hiring a room
We have rooms available to hire at the May Logan Centre.
We have a number of multi-purpose rooms that can be used for group sessions, one to one counselling, training and formal meetings.
We have several clinical rooms that are used for midwifery, family planning and Alder Hey Services.
Sound Treated Rooms
We have two sound treated rooms used for audiology clinics.
Apple Tree Café
Serving up fresh, affordable food, Apple Tree Café’s core focus is the local community providing homemade bakes and hosting learning sessions and classes. Find out more about the café here.
