Join us at the ‘First Time Buyer Home Show’ in Manchester

First Time Buyer Home Show, Manchester

Onward will be exhibiting at this year’s First Time Buyer Home Show in Manchester, offering advice and support to those who are looking to take their first step on the property ladder.

The free-to-attend event will be held at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Old Trafford, on Saturday 15 September, from 10am until 4pm.

Aspiring homeowners can find out about the latest properties and upcoming developments from a range of developers, as well as learn more about low deposit home-buying schemes such as Shared Ownership and Help to Buy.

Both schemes have become increasingly popular ways of helping first-time buyers purchase a home, as they require lower upfront costs than a standalone mortgage.

Lynda Clark (pictured), editor of First Time Buyer Magazine, said: “The event is a fantastic opportunity for first-time buyers to learn more about purchasing their first home, with free advice on hand from a wide range of experts.

“With all the necessary information under one roof, first-time buyers can save hours of time trawling around on the internet or on the streets of Manchester.

“We understand that being a first-time buyer can be a daunting experience and so by coming along to the show, they will be able to have all their questions answered.”

Throughout the day there will also be a series of seminars from specialists such as Help to Buy North West, offering further practical advice about buying a home, while companies such as Metro Finance will also be on hand to offer mortgage advice.

Onward will be showcasing a range of new and upcoming developments being built in Manchester and throughout the North West.

Sandy Kelly, head of sales at Onward, said: “We’re really excited to be exhibiting at the First Time Buyer Home Show. This event is a must for anyone who is looking to get a foot on the property ladder.

“Buying your first home can be a bit of a minefield, but the First Time Buyer Home Show provides all the information you need in a relaxed, informal environment.

“Our experienced team will be available to talk you through your options, offer support and advice, and help find the perfect home for you.”
