Half-term fun in Oldham
The half-term holidays are almost here again, which means many of us will be looking for ways to keep the kids entertained for a whole week.
Luckily, we’ve teamed up with Oasis Hub, Thriving Hollinwood and Regenda Homes to bring some fun (and FREE!) family events and activities to Hollinwood, Oldham.
Here’s what’s happening at the Oasis Hub, based at Oasis Academy on Hollins Road, during half-term:
Tuesday 18th February, 10.30am-1pm – Hubabaloo
A fun-filled day of arts, crafts, dance, sports and face painting. Even better this is all followed by a freshly cooked meal!
Wednesday 19th February, 12.30pm-3pm – Film
Get together with friends and family to have a meal, sit back, relax and enjoy a movie on the big screen.
Friday 21st February, 1pm-3pm – Mahdlo
Come down to see what the wonderful Mahdlo team have in store for all the family– it’s sure to be fun!
There’s no need to book for any of the events – just turn up!
Oasis Hub also hold a community drop in every Tuesday at 9am – 10.45am where local residents are invited to come in for a brew and have a chat with Oasis volunteers and staff. The drop in takes place at the community space at Oasis Academy.
There will be more activities planned for future half-term and summer holidays throughout 2020 so keep an eye out for further details published throughout the year.
