Supporting ASB Awareness Week

Taking place from the 30th June to 6th July, Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week is an annual event organised by RESOLVE UK that aims to tackle antisocial behaviour (ASB) and promote safer communities across the UK.    

As part of this year’s awareness week, we will be taking part in a series of activities across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside to raise awareness.   

We will also be holding the following events with our partners, and customers are invited to join us, raise concerns and speak to their local Onward team about what is being done to tackle ASB in their neighbourhood. 

  • Monday 30th June  

Speak to our Safer Neighbourhoods Team at a drop-in event with the local police and fire service from 4pm to 6pm at The Park Community Hub in Limeside (OL 5BP). 

  • Tuesday 1st July  

Our Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be available between 10am and 1pm at The Old Vicarage in Bolton (BL1 7EQ).  

Speak to our Safer Neighbourhoods Team at a drop-in event with the local police from 10am to 1pm at Hillview in Aigburth (L17 0EQ). 

  • Wednesday 2nd July  

Our Safer Neighbourhoods Team are hosting a neighbourhood walkabout with our Neighbourhoods Team, the local police and fire service, private housing providers and the council’s Safer Stronger Communities Team at Wilburn Street in Walton (L4 4EA) from 11am.   

We’re hosting a have your say event and neighbourhood walkabout from 10am to 12pm in Beechwood (CH43 7ZU) with your local Onward Team, police and fire service, council and partners from the C.E.L.L.S programme.  

Speak to our Safer Neighbourhoods Team at a drop-in event with NHS prescribers at St Andrews Church in Whitefield (M25 8ZA) from 10am to 2pm.   

  • Thursday 3rd July   

Our Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be joined by local police for a walkabout and leaflet drop in our Belfield and Rothwell neighbourhoods in Accrington (BB5 2JD) from 10am to 1pm.   

  • Friday 4th July  

Our Safer Neighbourhoods Team are hosting a walkabout and leaflet drop with our Neighbourhoods Team and local police at Birch Lea Park in Hattersley (SK14 3JW) from 11am to 2pm.  

We’re also launching a new drop-in at Garston Library (L19 8EL) from 10am to 12pm in collaboration with our Safer Neighbourhoods, Neighbourhoods and Social Investment Teams. We’ll also be joined by South Liverpool Homes and local police.
