What is Hate Crime?
Hate crimes is defined as; any crimes that are targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that person’s:

  • Disability
  • Age
  • Race or ethnicity
  • Religion or beliefs
  • Sexual orientation
  • Gender identity.

How to report hate crime:

  • In an emergency Hate Crime should be reported to the police on 999 immediately.
  • You can report a hate crime at your local police station or on 101.
  • Once you have contacted the police please contact us with the crime reference number given to you by the police.
