Transfer of 134 homes from Auxesia to Onward

We are delighted to welcome new customers from Auxesia to Onward Homes. Auxesia has now officially transferred 134 homes to Onward, comprising a mix of shared ownership and general needs properties. The transfer reflects our commitment to deliver a variety of homes that reflect the different needs of our communities.

Both Auxesia and Onward share a common goal: to provide high-quality homes that are affordable to rent or buy, and more affordable for people to run in the long term. We believe that working in partnership to transfer these homes will help both organisations to make even more of a positive impact over time, and that Auxesia customers will begin to feel the benefits of joining Onward straight away.

Bronwen Rapley, Chief Executive at Onward, said:

“We are delighted to welcome our new customers to Onward. Auxesia shares our commitment to providing quality homes in places that people can be proud of.

“Bringing these new homes into Onward will enable us to continue to boost the choice and supply of much-needed affordable housing across our communities, helping more people to find a place to call home.

“The transfer has been carefully planned to ensure it is as smooth as possible and we look forward to getting out in our communities and meeting new customers in the coming weeks.”

Claire Donnelly, Interim Chief Executive Officer at Auxesia Homes, said:

““It is vital that the homes we deliver are not only high-quality and sustainable, but passed into the stewardship of trusted, long-term partners like Onward, ensuring ongoing support for residents and the communities they live in.

”Deals like this are instrumental in allowing us to reinvest in communities, support our developer partners, and help Registered Providers grow their portfolios with high-quality, income-generating stock. Working with Onward has been a genuinely collaborative and pleasant experience, and we are proud to see this portfolio join their wider regional offer.”
