May Logan Centre

Located in the heart of Linacre, the May Logan Centre aims to improve the health and wellbeing of those living in South Sefton through accessible support and NHS services.

Onward Homes built the healthy living centre in 1999 and manages its day-to-day operations, with core funding provided by NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The Centre, which is located at 294 Knowsley Road, Bootle, L20 5DQ, is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm on Thursdays. Find out more about the support services and facilities available below.

Health clinics

In addition to running our own healthy living projects, the Centre is home to clinics hosted by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Trust, Primary Care Network, and the Community Midwife Team from Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

These clinics offer respiratory, audiology, gynaecology, antenatal, diabetes prevention and menopause services, as well as smoking and alcohol support.

Living Well Sefton

Alongside health clinics run by our partners, Living Well Sefton, a health and wellbeing service funded by Sefton Council, is also available at the Centre.

Their team of friendly, experienced mentors can help you make positive changes to improve your health and wellbeing at your own pace.

Through one-to-one appointments, regular support, signposting to local groups and other services, you can get help with:

  • Healthy eating
  • Losing weight
  • Improving your child’s diet
